World Rally Championship
Our first game in the WRC series simultaneously cemented Evo as a key PS2 developer and redefined what players should expect from a rally game.
Released in 2001, it featured 81 tracks in environments that were bigger than anything that had gone before. This was also the title that saw us work most closely with the real teams and drivers to get everything in place for the franchise.
Official PlayStation2 Magazine UK said that the game was "The best rallying action yet seen on the PS2... doing for rallying what Gran Turismo did for touring cars. And then some." They gave it 9/10.
